Julian is an experienced founder who gained long-standing expertise in marketing & sales within the food and health sector. After successfully founding a health startup, he pursued his dream to travel the world. Influenced by the experiences he gathered during his travels, Julian came up with the idea for Happy Ocean Foods.

Robin has versitale business development & operations experience within startups in the digital transformation, food & e-commerce sector. Additionally, he built a side-business in the sports sector. Robin resigned from his last permanent position, to follow his drive of building Happy Ocean Foods as a co-founder.
Christina is our food science expert and worked in a laboratory for chemical and microbial examination of food. Christina has a strong expertise in nutrition and is convinced of a plant-based diet. She is currently finishing her Master's degree in Nutrition and Biomedicine at the Technical University of Munich.
VIKTORIA V. BEERFELDE

Viktoria has multi-annual work experience in the product development of a rising food startup with international distribution channels. She knows the strict guidelines for the food industry and quality requirements in depth. She gained a Bachelor degree in life science at the Technical University of Munich.

Almost all good stories start with the right people who run into each other at the right moment. For us, that moment was in 2016, in a successful e-commerce startup in the food & health sector. We quickly noticed that we think similarly: good food, a lot of exercise, a healthy lifestyle. And always with one big thought in mind - to build something that you really believe in and that has a deeper meaning.
Inspired by the impressions of our many trips, we recognized that sustainable nutrition will be one of the greatest challenges and at the same time opportunities of the future. As avid surfers and nature lovers, we have decided to create a brand for authentic alternatives to fish and seafood. Alternatives that are delicious and help protect our oceans. An innovative brand that really matters and serves a niche in a future market. And a happy brand that invites you to break new ground with us.
